S*ZIMEXIS ISADORA DUNCAN

Former breeding cats

A few years ago, we sold a female, S*NC’s Angie to the S*Zimexis Cattery. Angie is the daughter of two former cats who lived here — the father, Drangedal des Iles LofotenF, and the mother, S*NC’s Cry Wolf. Both of them are no longer with us. When Isadora and her siblings were born, I hoped that there would be something from that litter I could bring back. In the pedigree, there are also other cats who lived with us and have since passed, including S*Sir Maxwell’s Singel and S*Restless Nightcrawler.

When I visited the litter, I instantly felt a connection with Isadora. She was large for her age, with strong bone structure, a long body, and a beautiful ear placement. We couldn’t wait to see how she would develop. A big thank you to Helle and Daniella for allowing “Isa” to join us!

We decided that her first litter would be with our boy, CH Je Suis Fort AdsumPL. They had two lovely kittens in the S*NC’s Diana Ross litter, born in July 2017. Nearly a year later, at the end of June, she had her second litter with our boy, GIC S*NC’s Calleth Me Cometh I. Together, they had four kittens in the S*NC’s The Beatles litter.

Sadly, things didn’t go as we hoped, and Isa began showing aggressive behavior. She refused to be handled by us, and after much consideration with our veterinarian, we made the difficult decision to let her peacefully go to sleep.

Thank you, Isa, for the time we had together. You will always be remembered.

We decided that her first litter will be together with our boy CH Je Suis Fort Adsum*PL. They got 2 lovely kittens in S*NC’s Diana Ross litter. This litter was born in July 2017. Almost a year later  in the end of June, she got her second litter together with our boy GIC S*NC’s Calleth Me Cometh I. They got 4 kittens together in S*NC’s The Beatles litter.

Unfortunately it did not turn out as intended and Isa showed aggressive behavior and did not want to be treated by us humans in any way. After a difficult decision together with our veterinarian, she was allowed to fall asleep quietly.

Thanks for the time we had together.
