SC S*NC’S WORDS UNSPOKEN JW DVM DSM

This girl is truly a dream come true for us! When we planned for S*Just Catnap’s Alma Snowflakes’ first litter with our beautiful male, S*Restless Nightcrawler “Leo”, we knew we would keep a female from this litter.

In the S*NC’s Supertramp litter, there were four brown/white girls and one blue/white girl. We had hoped for a brown girl without any white, but instead, we began choosing between the brown/white girls. However, this little blue girl, who we affectionately named ”Blåbär,” stole our hearts, and we decided to let her stay. She has an amazing personality, and we are excited to watch her grow and develop.

We started taking her to some cat shows, where she performed wonderfully. At just 7 months old, she earned the title of Junior Winner in Norrköping. We’re incredibly proud of her and plan to take her to more shows.

“Blåbär” continued to achieve great success at cat shows, and by October 2010, she earned her DVM title. In March 2011, she was awarded the prestigious title of Supreme Champion, the same day as her brother, S*NC’s Sooner Or Later. In April of that same year, she received the Distinguished Show Merit (DSM) title. Between 2008 and 2011, she won 15 Best in Show titles.

Her first litter arrived in March 2010, with five kittens sired by our French male, Casanova, in the S*NC’s Madonna litter. The kittens showed great promise, and two of them — S*NC’s Frozen and S*NC’s Vogue — became Junior Winners.

Her second litter, born in July 2011, was with another French male from our cattery, Drangedal des Iles LofotenF. This litter, S*NC’s Roxette II, produced six kittens, and one of the males, S*NC’s Joyride, went on to become a Junior Winner in Finland.

In July 2014, her third litter was born. This time, we repeated the mating with Casanova, and they had four kittens, known as the S*NC’s Rihanna litter. One of them, S*NC’s Te Amo, now lives in Italy at the IT*Nimue cattery. He became a Junior Winner and, in early 2017, earned the titles of Mediterranean Winner and North Sea Winner. What an impressive boy! Later, we brought back a daughter from ”Teo” into our cattery — IT*Nimue Blackberry Morgana.

Over the years, we tried mating ”Blåbär” with other males, but she was quite difficult during the matings. After several unsuccessful attempts, we decided to mate her once more with Casanova. In October 2015, her last litter, the S*NC’s AC/DC litter, was born. There were six males, and one of them, named S*NC’s Casa Junior, was named after Casanova, as this was his last litter.

In spring 2016, we were struck by a devastating shock. One day, we found ”Blåbär” in a very poor condition in the cat run. She was struggling to breathe, so we rushed her to the Veterinary Hospital Emergency. They started administering oxygen, and upon examination, they discovered a large mass in her stomach, something that shouldn’t have been there. An x-ray and autopsy revealed a massive tumor in her stomach that had caused severe internal bleeding. Unfortunately, there was nothing more to be done, and we had to say goodbye to our beloved girl, ”Blåbär.”

She was such a special cat to us, and we will never forget her. ”Blåbär” was only 8 years old, but we had hoped for many more years with her.

Rest in peace, dear ”Blåbär.” Thank you for all the wonderful moments and for the incredible kittens you gave us.

We started to take her with us to some catshows, and she was doing it very well. At an age of 7 months she became Junior Winner in Norrköping. We are so proud of her and we will take her to some more catshows.

”Blåbär” continued to had a lot of success on catshows and in October 2010 she got her DVM title. In March 2011 she got the title Supreme Champion at the same day as her brother S*NC’s Sooner Or Later. Finally in April the same year she got the DSM title. Over the years 2008-2011 she had won 15 Best In Shows.

Finally it was time for her first kittens. In March 2010 there were five kittens born together with our Frenchman Casanova in S*NC’s Madonna litter. They were all very promising and two of them became Junior Winners. These two was S*NC’s Frozen and S*NC’s Vouge.

Next litter came in July 2011 and was together with another Frencman in our cattery, Drangedal des Iles Lofoten*F. They got six kittens in S*NC’s Roxette II litter were one of the males lives in Finland, S*NC’s Joyride, who became Junior Winner.

In July 2014 her third litter was born. This time we repeted the mating with Casanova and this time they got four kittens together. This litter was S*NC’s Rihanna litter and one of them, S*NC’s Te Amo, was moved to Italy in IT*Nimue cattery. He became Junior Winner and in the beginning of 2017 he also became Mediterranean Winner and North Sea Winner. What a boy! Later we also got a daughter from ”Teo” in our cattery – IT*Nimue Blackberry Morgana.

During the time we have tried to mate ”Blåbär” with other males but she was a bit difficult during the matings. After some matings that not succeded we decided to mate her once again with Casanova so in October 2015 she had her last kittens in S*NC’s AC/DC litter. There were six males and this also became Casanovas last litter and that is also the reason why we named one of the boys after him, S*NC’s Casa Junior.

In spring 2016 we were hit by a big chock when we found ”Blåbär” in a very bad condition in the catrun. She had difficulty breathing and we took her to the Veterinary Hospital Emergency. They started to give her oxygen and when they examined her they found a big ”thing” in her stomach that not should be there. The x-ray and autophsy showed that she had a big tumour in her stomach that had caused a major bleeding in the abdomen. There was nothing to do about it so we had to say farwell to our wonderful girl ”Blåbär”. She was a very special girl for us and we will never forget her. ”Blåbär” became 8 years old but we had hoped for many more years together with her.
