About Us

Me, Susanne together with my husband Peo Zobell run this Norwegian forest cat breeding and have done so since 2004. We now live in Morgongåva, Sweden, a small town outside Uppsala. Here we are close to nature and have the luxury of having the forest as our nearest neighbor, something that is appreciated not only by us but also by the cats. We live here together with our Norwegian forest cats and our pug, Lakrits.

Our cat breeding actually started already in 1996. At that time we were a very small breeding of Birman cats. The breeding name was S*Västergökens Heliga Birmakatter. In the fall of 2004, we were at a cat show with one of our Birman cats and suddenly we saw a very beautiful cat, a large Norwegian forest cat that was brown mackerel – and we fell madly in love! Back home we started looking for a Norwegian Forest Cat kitten on the internet and after a while we found him, the last male of the litter still for sale. It must have been fate. His name was S*Restless Nightcrawler, or ”Leo” as we called him, he was our first Norwegian Forest Cat and we were so happy and grateful to have him become part of our family. He will be the main character of our breeding and is also the meaning behind the name NC’s which stands for his name, Nightcrawler.

All our cats bring us so much happiness. They live with us in the house as family members, but they also like to go outside in the cat yard during the summer. As we are a small cattery, we only have a few litters each year. The most important thing for us is to breed healthy and beautiful kittens with a wonderful temperament. We are also certified breeders in SVERAK.

Every year, we eagerly look forward to attending the World Show, where we have the opportunity to connect with amazing cat people from various corners of the globe. In addition to our cattery, me and my husband, Peo, proudly represent Royal Canin as ambassadors within the cat community. All our cats consistently eat Royal Canin quality food. The food has been created to provide nutrition that is tailored to the cat’s health needs regardless of breed, age and lifestyle. It feels important that all our kittens get a healthy start to their new life. All our cats and kittens are covered by their own insurance with Svedea.
